Produced by Kanda Shokai, these Japanese influenced electric guitars have become widely popular, especially just recently over the past few years. This is largely due to the association with the extremely well known Fender guitars.
The Greco Fender replicas from the late 70s and early 80s are quite similar to some of the early Fender Japan guitars as Kanda Shokai own the Greco brand and are also a part of Fender Japan. The Greco Fender replicas made by Matsumoku have Matsumoku stamped on the neckplate and the other Greco Fender replicas were made by Fuji-Gen Gakki.
